George Lucas - "The Dirty Dozen"

"The Dirty Dozen"

This was the term given to the students at the USC School of Cinematic Arts within the University of Southern California during the mid-late 1960s.

These included:

George Lucas - creator of the Star Wars series and co-creator of Indiana Jones series, who gained recognition for his short films Freiheit and "01:42:08". This beautifully shot installation is basically a car driving, of which includes some great close up shots of the frustrated driver, POV (point of view) shots of the car actually driving. It really set him into the world of film-making, and made his 'stamp' as a director.

Also...John Milius, Howard Kazanjian, Walter Murch, Hal Barwood, Bob Gale, Matthew Robbins, Randal Kleiser, Caleb Deschanel, Willard Huyck, Robert Zemeckis
